In this week-end trail of gastronomic delights, you will visit The Stagg Inn at Titley,                       

which became famous for being the first pub in the UK to receive a michelin star, the Mill Race at Walford, winner of several foodie and environmental awards, and the Talbot at Knightwick, where Nigel Slater began his career! Your campsites are just short drives away from the respective gastropubs - but even so you might want to consider booking a taxi! Enjoy a fabulous week-end travelling and sleeping in your VW campervan, and let others take the strain of the cooking for once!


Day 1 -

Collect campervan and head off to your first campsite at Walton Court. See the link to google maps below for the full route.This leg of your journey should take around an hour (44.9 miles) 


Once you've settled in, its a 6 mile drive to your dinner venue at The Stagg Inn. Again, directions are available on the google map below. Make sure you book a table in advance!

The following day, you could try a short (or longer) walk (details on the campsite website) before heading off to your next venue.

Day 2 - Head over to Doward Park campsite. directions again, by clicking the google map link below.  Pic2 The campsite also has a good map on it's website. This, again, is about an hour's drive (40.9 miles)There are plenty of walks, activities and places to visit near the campsite, including Symmonds Yat. When you are ready, head over to The Mill Race, at Walford, 4.5 miles away.

Day 3 - It is possible to do a circular walk from the campsite to the River Wye, calling at the Saracen's Head for lunch. You can cross the river via the ferry or Biblin's Bridge. Ask us for the guide book with details of the walk before you leave us, or ask at the camp site. 

When you are ready, head over to Boyce Caravan Park at Bromyard (32.5 miles,about 50 mins) and later on to the Talbot Inn at Knightwick for your final meal of the tour (4.7 miles from the campsite)

Day 4 - Head back to base! You are only about 10 miles away!

We can happily book the campsites and restaurants for you for a small extra charge. Please note that the price of the trail varies seasonally, and any price quoted does not include campsite and restaurant charges. There is no additional charge for the trail, you just pay for the campervan hire.
